My 4 Year Old Can Art

I am very proud to present a collaboration between myself and my 4 year old daughter, Dawn.
The sketch was done by me and my Dawnie colored it for me
This is her very first time using a drawing tablet and pen.

She is very excited to hear what you guys think XD
I'm gonna read her all the comments and tear up while I watch the prideful look on her face

Anyway let me tell you the story of how this came to be.
_{Earlier Dawn was watching steven universe and says "mom can you draw this character, (and points out rainbow quartz) I like her." So I said sure and sketched for a while till I had a decently clean sketch but no line art to color myself yet. By this time Dawn was feeling a bit down in the dumps and I asked her if she would like to try coloring mommy's way. Of course she jumped on my lap and was suddenly happy. XD
All I said was "here take the pen, you draw here, but you have to look here..colors are here, eraser is here, paintbrush is here" and off she went. I didn't have to explain how to use the tablet, she figured it out in seconds of hovering the pen over it. She never once tried looking down at the tablet because she knew where her drawing was and it wasn't down there even though at first when you aren't used to it, instinct tells you to look where your hand is.
She colored and erased and colored and erased with such focus...for AN HOUR AND A HALF till she was finally happy with what she had done. Now, my daughter is not the type to focus or remain un-frustrated with herself for an extended period of time. Normally she gets bored or stops paying attention or gets upset with her inability to do something the way she wants to do it.
But she finished it, and for a 4 year old's first try at coloring on an unfamiliar base, I'd say she did really well, and I'm a very proud mommy right now.}

My 6 year old, Terrezza, tried quickly before bed but she didn't have the patience and precision of her younger sister. Shes more of a sculptor. I'm gonna have to work with her a bit more XD
